  • Title: RMF Cybersecurity Systems Engineer (Level III)

    Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

    Provide expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) during Cyber Working Groups (CWG).
    Provide expertise in the configuration management process of hardware and software.
    Provide cybersecurity expertise during Change Control Boards (CCB).
    Provide expertise in patch management of information systems.
    Develop policies and procedures that meet RMF requirements.
    Conduct cybersecurity assessments using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC).
    Conduct cybersecurity assessments using the DISA STIG Viewer.
    Provide cybersecurity expertise throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    Develop cybersecurity impact assessments.
    Develop and conduct cybersecurity compliance assessments.
    Develop cybersecurity compliance vulnerability reports.
    Recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.
    Prepare security authorization packages for an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
    Develop and maintain Ports, Protocols and Services matrixes.
    Develop and maintain Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
    Update and maintain Topologies.
    Input data and properly use eMASS.

  • Desirable Skills:
    Scripting in Powershell, Visual Basic
    Familiarity with the following operating systems: Windows, Solaris, Linux/Unix, Cisco, Juniper

    Position Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or related field of study with 5 years' experience or Master's Degree in related field of study with 3 years' experience.
    DoDD 8140 - IAM Level II compliant (CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP).
    Must understand NIST 800-53.
    Must have SCAP/STIG and eMass experience.
    Must have strong interpersonal, listening, verbal, written communication skills, and attention to detail.
    Must be experienced with presenting material to senior leadership and Government officials.
    Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
    Must be a U.S. Citizen, and be able to obtain a security clearance.
    Travel Requirements:
    Up to 25% Travel.
    Ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
